Away From Wolves is a five-piece original rock band from Chicago, IL influenced by several styles of alternative and classic rock acts. Led by a dynamic vocalist and a guitar-playing/songwriting duo, AFW strives to create an original and eclectic rock catalogue of its own.

Away From Wolves has cultivated a solid local fan base, and has played multiple shows at Reggie’s Rock Club, The Elbo Room, and West Chicago Social Club. In that vein, the band consistently looks for new opportunities for shows to continue promoting its work, networking with other acts, and to add to its steadily growing fanbase.

In the coming months, AFW is preparing for the self-release of its debut album, “When They Become Us,”. We’ve worked with Chicago-based producers Mark Rose of Burn the Furniture/Bricktop Studios, and Matt Mercado of Sonic Palace, to hone and develop the album’s sound and direction.
